Primary Function of Position:

Candidate will be responsible for managing team of developers and technical architecture, developing / supporting rich scalable Enterprise Web & Mobile Applications that integrate several back ends applications and cloud solutions. The candidate will also be responsible for, but not limited to, the following activities: designing rich user interfaces works with Mean stack, J2EE Portal, SOAP and REST based web services. The candidate will work cross-functionally to deliver new software solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing custom external facing web applications, provides tight security and good application performance
• Works closely with various departments to gather requirements and develop Rich Internet and Intranet web applications using J2EE Portal Framework, Spring & Hibernate technologies
• Responsible for developing and supporting enterprise mobile platform implementations
• Supports and monitors Apache HTTP, J2EE Portal application infrastructure, upgrade the software to leverage new features and maintains the health of the application server environment
• Day to day support involving bug fixes, functional and technical enhancements
• Responsible to provide analytics and metrics; improve the end user experience and increase the adoption of external facing web sites by patients, hospitals and surgeons
• Works with cross-functional teams and cross-applications to architect and build web & mobile applications that interact with multiple backend systems
• Manage and lead team of developers, guiding them with best practices, design patterns and architecture.

Skill/Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience with J2EE Portal.
• Experience in designing and developing web & mobile applications.
• Experience in Web development using J2EE, JavaScript and CSS.
• Experience interacting with SQL Server, Oracle & MySQL databases.
• Experience with J2EE Spring and Hibernate Frameworks.
• Experience with Apache HTTP and Tomcat Server.
• Experience with Windows, UNIX / Linux operating systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to recommend and support new technologies.
