The Intuitive and da Vinci brands have valuable equities, organically established on the strengths of their category and product leadership. The newly established Brand Team is tasked with accessing the untapped potential of these brands through intentional and systematic brand development.
Our company is looking for a Brand Strategist to assist in the deployment of these category creating brands. As “brand guardians,” Brand Strategists act to maintain brand integrity and resonance in corporate and product initiatives across a variety of communications channels and touch points. Opportunities and needs abound to oversee brand definition and development of multiple product offerings. A natural collaborator, the Brand Strategist will align with product marketing, design and engineering staff to help develop product portfolio strategies that support business growth while continuing to accrete positive brand equities to the parent brand. The Brand strategist will also provide input into the creation of marketing strategies and collateral consistent with product goals and brand guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with company stakeholders, including product marketing, design, engineering and executives to define, develop and build brands for existing and emerging offerings.
• Engage with marketing, design and engineering to define and develop emerging product brands or other offerings.• Conceptualize brand strategies• Create custom brand deployment and management plans to build brand equities and support business goals• Adjust campaign and collateral design briefs to align with brand guidelines• Conduct ongoing assessments of brand value• Consult and mediate questions regarding application of brand guidelines• May manage advertising agencies to manage campaigns
• Collaborator, communicator and influencer• Strategic and structured thinker• Biased toward action and results• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Economics, Design or related experience• Minimum of 8 years’ experience steering, managing, or otherwise defining brands• Project management experience preferred• Design experience (e.g. visual design) and strong aesthetic sense are positives• Messaging experience (e.g., narrative, message mapping, voice and tone) and ability to communicate clearly and coach others are positives• Excited by working on difficult problems with a dedicated team of high-energy, high-caliber people.• Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously and multi-task in a complex, fast-paced environment.• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
