Position’s Objective & Summary:


Intuitive Surgical is going through a rapid growth of its organization across the world and is opening a newly created Human Resources Manager role to support its international teams.  The Human Resources Manager International will provide support when setting up new entities, develop and implement proper solutions working with COEs both from the EU region and Corporate. Partnering with Leaders, he/she will contribute to manage and ensure the effectiveness of HR activities and programs in countries not directly supported by a dedicated HR team.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Partner with teams across the organization (finance, payroll, legal, tax, sales, etc) to set up new entities and organizations, providing expert support in Compensation, Benefits, Employment practices and policies;
  • Work with external partners to assess best way of course to implement company programs and policies;
  • Implement Compensation, Benefits, Employment practices and policies in new entities;
  • Partner with the leadership team to reach the headcount requirements. Activities include developing and managing relationships with 3rd party recruitment suppliers, supporting hiring managers in recruiting efforts, defining adequate compensation & benefits packages, developing, implementing and managing onboarding of new employees;
  • Work closely with leaders and provide them with expert guidance, coaching and counsel on HR programs, policies and procedures, employment/labor laws, conflict resolution and employee relations;
  • Develop, implement and improve internal processes;


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:


  • Master Degree in Business, Labor Psychology or equivalent;
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar role in an international and fast growing environment;
  • Sound knowledge of labor law, Latin America or Asia country preferred;
  • Ability to prioritize and seamlessly manage a high volume of activities and requests from multiple sources in a time sensitive environment;
  • Proven problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Proven success in project management in a demanding, fast paced and constantly evolving environment;
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, interpersonal);
  • Fluent in English and French, another language an asset;
  • Solid computer skills;
  • This position will be based in Aubonne, Switzerland and will require about 30% travel.
