Primary Function of Position:
As Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for increasing the capabilities of our current systems, drive continuous improvement, and develop/implement strategy for next generation systems and infrastructure. You will engage with cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design, and develop programs, policies, and processes. You will be responsive, flexible, and able to success within an open collaborative peer environment. In this role, you will
• Be the leader and accountable for the Maintenance and Operations department.• Create and manage multiple complex programs – program management, facilitation, work prioritization, planning and task delegation. Identify and drive process improvements and program enhancements for existing programs.• Manage schedule health of programs and initiatives by driving communications with business partners, with input and support from cross-functional leads. Identify risks and clearly communicate goals to stakeholders.• Collaborate with cross functional teams in G&A, engineering, manufacturing to develop processes, process flows, implementation schedules. Plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle.• Represent all of facility operations within project teams and the organization at large. Use previous experience to influence and negotiate to drive and ensure resolution of all technical and process issues.• Report out on program updates on a weekly, monthly basis to all levels of the organization. Drive the reviews and highlight key risks and opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities:
MAINTENANCE & OPERATIONS:
• Oversee daily activities needed to ensure a functional, efficient, and safe working environment for employees.• Manage the maintenance and operations of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities.• Plan, budget, schedule facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs.• Expense control: process invoices and track expenses.• Leverage historical performance data and forecasting inputs towards driving sustained accuracy improvements on capital and expense expenditure.• Work with vendors for capital and expense projects as it relates to facility maintenance and operations infrastructure repairs and improvements
ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY:
• Responsible for the planning, administration, and management of environmental, health, safety, and security at all domestic locations to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and standards• Design, develop, implement strategic and tactical written EHS&S programs, processes, and systems• Promote and develop an innovative and proactive safety culture across all organizations• Work with all levels of management to ensure safety and health work standards and methodologies are communicated and targeted goals are established and achieved through individual as well as team based objectives and strategies
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, or business from an accredited institution. LEED certification AB+C.• Minimum 10 years of direct, progressive professional experience in the management of the maintenance and operations of commercial buildings (general administration, R&D, manufacturing).• 7+ years managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines.• Knowledge of application of local, state, federal regulations: building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, OSHA, LEED, Cal-Green, ADA.• Strong skills: MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, cMMS, BMS• Proficient in reading construction documents – all disciplines – architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, life safety, civil and site.• Strong analytical skills.• Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.• Highly developed interpersonal skills, with strong ability to lead internal and external resources, and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, from individual contributor to executive leadership.• Highly effective communication skills – writing and speaking skills through written proposals, meeting facilitation, oral presentations.• Ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment, taking a leadership role and dealing with ambiguity effectively.
