Primary Function of Position:
This individual will assist with the maintenance, broader adoption and sustenance of the Intuitive Lean Six Sigma (ILSS) Training and Certification Program. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, development, customization, publication and administration of existing and new LSS and Project Management training curricula. This individual will also help manage chartering, facilitation, governance and tracking of Lean Six Sigma and Transactional Lean projects at Intuitive. The program is set for broader expansion to a wide array of applications throughout the global organization. This individual will train, mentor and guide belts and other project leads to success.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Conduct Lean DMAIC, Six Sigma Stats and Project Management Training Sessions• Design focused training sessions for on-demand sessions tailored to the audience• Run different workshops that support all types of projects (both DMAIC and non-DMAIC)• Work with multiple belt trainees and teams to create baseline current state process documentation and future state business requirements• Coach & mentor belts within the team and across the organization• Drive Customer impacting projects utilizing Lean and PM methodologies• Create project charters, stakeholder analyses, Value Stream Maps and quantification models.• Present project updates, findings, and detailed, prioritized recommendations to sponsors and key stakeholders in a range of different formats• Analyze a range of complex problems across the organization’s processes identifying inefficiencies, areas for improvement and automation utilizing a range of different sources• Design efficient business processes in order to improve the customer experience, organizational efficiency and eliminate non value add tasks incorporating LEAN methodology into the design of processes and systems• Drive project implementation working closely with subject matter experts and project champions/sponsors/stakeholders• Collaborate with Global Process Owners to implement system & process improvements ensuring alignment & consistency• Create metrics and dashboards to measure process efficiencies in order to validate process changes are creating the desired results
• Current LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt certification• PMP Certification• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in STEM• Expert user of Microsoft Visio, Powerpoint, Project, Excel, and MINITAB• Ability to travel internationally• Excellent communication skills• 3 year experience as an LSS or PM trainer• Experienced LSS applied statistics trainer
• Highly organized & ability to prioritize• Excellent Project Management skills• Experience working for a Global organization across multiple functions & regions• Highly pro-active & ability to work independently• Enthusiastic and a passion to learn and develop• Fluent English language skills (both verbal and written)• Ability to influence• +10 years in business process design• Experience in Medical Device or Biotech industry
