Position’s Objective & Summary:
Responsible for ensuring compliance of the organization to European laws related to personal data protection.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the continuous implementation and improvement of our data privacy program, including maintaining records of personal data processing operations
  • Ensure privacy by design and by default at all levels of product or services development, including by engaging with appropriate stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, IT or HR teams
  • Ensure queries from data subjects are addressed appropriately and timely
  • Liaise with other organizations that process data on our behalf
  • Perform routine data protection audits
  • Act as internal point of contact regarding potential data breaches
  • Provide training on data privacy laws compliance for employees
  • Actively monitor the data protection regulatory landscape to identify changes that may impact the organization’s operations
  • Lead and promote a personal data protection culture

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of personal data protection regulations, including EU regulations
  • Strong understanding of the EU GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
  • Excellent team skills with ability to collaborate, influence and lead others
  • Demonstrated ability to work with others in an international, multicultural team environment
  • At least 7+ years’ experience, including within global companies / matrixed organizations
  • Bachelor, Engineering or Master’s degree
  • Mature, autonomous, self-starter, capable of initiative, accepting accountability, managing shifting priorities and ambiguity
  • English fluent
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Certified Information Privacy Professionals (CIPP) certification for Europe a plus
  • Experience in the healthcare sector preferred 
  • French / German  a plus
