Primary Function of Position:

Lead financial business partner for the Instruments and Accessories Business Unit.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage P&L for a BU with annual revenues of $1.6B

• Responsible for assisting in optimal allocation of product R&D in alignment with the Company’s mission to improve surgical outcomes and the Company’s financial objectives to maximize long-term revenue growth

• Manage product cost and margin performance, including supplier price negotiations and manufacturing cost performance

• Provide financial oversight, cost accounting, and financial analysis for manufacturing facilities in Sunnyvale and Mexico

• Drive the annual strategic planning process

• Forecasting and budgeting for the entire financial metrics and P&L of the BU

• Monthly and Quarterly management reporting, including key performance indicators

• Analyze and drive opportunities to improve margin

• Manage a team of 13 individuals located in Sunnyvale and Mexico


Qualifications

Skill/Job Requirements:

• Strong business partner and communication skills
• Leadership and influencing skills
• Deep Manufacturing Operations experience
• Requires strong knowledge of GAAP
• Track record of developing extensive business knowledge
• Analytical expertise
• Strong system skills (SAP, Hyperion, EDW, Tableau)
• Managerial experience, including coaching and developing teams
• B.S. in Finance, Accounting or Economics; MBA desired
• 15+ years of increasing levels of financial management experience
